Automated industrial loading equipment
The equipment is an industrial manipulator with four degrees of freedom. Its task is to move the finished workpieces of the printer, which operates simultaneously with it, from the work area to a transfer unit. The requirements defined a completely unique, high-precision and powerful mechanism and a 4-meter diameter working space. The equipment operates with our self-developed precision gear units, which are perfectly suitable for this task.

3D printer with extra-large workspace
Among the different 3D printing technologies, the so-called FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) type is suitable for the cost-effective production of conceptual models, functional prototypes and directly usable parts, made of high-performance, thermoplastic technical plastics. However, the build volume of most of the commercially available printers is in the range of only a few cubic decimeters. The "ORQA" FDM type 3D printers have been developed for the production of extra-large prototypes, with a build volume up to 2.5 m x 1.25 m x 1.2 m (L x W x H). The machine has a thermally insulated casing, the worktable is heated and its height can be adjusted by 14 independent motors. With the latter solution, the flatness of the table can be adjusted, to suit the appropriate adhesion of the work material, which is essential for printing high-quality parts. With this feature it is possible to create a convexity in the worktable, which helps to remove the large-sized printed parts from the table.
Cash transfer unit for gas stations
The cash transfer unit is already in use in Hungary at gas stations of a retail chain, and its task is to create a connection between the cashier and the customer. For the safety of the typically one-person crew, one of the most important features of the device is that it is bulletproof against handguns. In the device, designed and manufactured by Wavedrive, the transfer of cash takes place via a two- way transfer tray. Another important function is that it is also equipped with a terminal suitable for electronic payment and it is able to read the store chain's own membership card.
High voltage column switch
Safety comes first, especially when maintaining 22 kV (high) voltage lines, and the network has to be disconnected. In this case gas-insulated junction boxes are used, for which we designed an additional device. The purpose of this is to make the switches which are located on poles quite a few meters high adjustable on-site without obstructing the remote control built into the switch.The most complex aspect of the switch unit is the result of the operating requirement. By turning the same operating lever 90 and 180 degrees, the switch needs to be opened and closed, and the same motion can also lock or release the open or closed state.
